PCA UPDATE #4 : 02/15/2022

This is the 4th PCA update article looking back at the past 15 days of activity. 200,000 PCA graded cards since 2016! 🎉

On the agenda, we are evolving the PCA UPDATE. Based on your feedback, many of you have appreciated the PCA UPDATE.  There will now be a PCA UPDATE every 15 days, moreover we are now able to provide more production indicators. Concerning the 3rd machine, a delivery date has been set.

 

Presentation of the indicators :

 

⚠️These are indicators to give you an idea about the progress of the service ⚠️

  • Date of the last order opened: 08/01/2021

    This is the date of the last order that was opened today. For example if the date is 08/01 it means that the last package opened today is an order that was placed on August 1st 2021.
     
  • Date of last order graded: 06/24/2021 

    This is the date of the last order that was fully reviewed by our experts today. For example if the date is 06/24 it means that the last order graded today is an order that was placed on June 24th, 2021.
     
  • Date of last sealed order: 06/18/2021

    This is the date of the last fully sealed order today. For example if the date is 06/18 it means that the last order sealed today is an order that was placed on June 18th, 2021.
     
  • Date of last order shipped: 06/13/2021 

    This is the date of the last order returned today. For example if the date is 06/13 it means that the last order returned today is an order that was placed on June 13th, 2021.



Comments: Before the arrival of the 3rd machine our production remains stable. We have been able to open many more packages in the last two weeks. The number of certified cards has increased by 10% compared to the last two weeks of January. This is a normal and understandable increase as several covid positive cases at the end of January had slightly delayed the production. The 3rd machine will be delivered on Friday, February 18. We estimate that it will take between one and two weeks to get it fully operational. In parallel, we will also receive a new hood on Friday, February 18. The interest of this hood is to reduce the risk of dust during the sealing process. This way, more cards will validate the quality control and the production rate will be increased.  

 

My order was placed before the dates of the indicators and was not opened/noted/sealed/sent, why?

 

Don't panic, it is very likely that this is a normal situation. In the majority of cases, these are orders that require manual action (cards missing from the database, wrong selection when ordering, etc.). It is also important to remember that if you do not enter a tracking number from your personal space, the tracking of your order will be non-existent or even completely distorted because the identification of your order will take more time.
